Reminiscent of the massive glass ashtrays used by Havana cigar smokers, the Cuba mold-blown bowl materializes the meaning of the Spanish word “cuba”, i.e. a barrel, a tub, a beaker, a trough. The bowl is truly big and regal thanks to its exigent shape and size, which are very difficult to achieve during blowing because of the unrotary shape.
