For three years in a row (2010, 2011, 2012) Maxim Velčovský modeled vases of snow and casted them in plaster. Various kinds of snow from various places thus gave birth to a unique collection of vases which reflect both time and the processes of hardening and melting which often, during their production, worked against each other. While the snow model was melting, the plaster form was simultaneously hardening. Water worked against water. Consider powder snow, firn, over-frozen snow, melting snow, brooks. This is the snow of 2010, from the Prague district of Bubeneč.
