Bohuslav Hor\u00e1k is a former member of the legendary group Atika<\/em> and a legend of Czech postmodernism which gradually developed a very distinctive and unmistakable style. In this style he applied his limited series of unique furniture and accessories. His best and long selling pieces include, for example, the mirror K\u00fd\u010d (Kitsch) from 1995, the chair named Pupeny (Buds) from 1996, the hanger stand Stromek (A Little Tree) from 1998 and the glass St\u00e9la (Stele), which he created a year later. His work can be seen in a number of galleries and collector spots around the world (Moss Gallery in New York, DaDriade in Rome, Limm Gallery in San Francisco, Dox by Qubus and K\u0159ehk\u00fd in Prague, etc.). He mainly works together with the German company Anthologie Quartet. In 2012, with the sculptress and the glass artist Vladim\u00edra Klumpar, they founded their own glass brand M.O.M. (Moje objektov\u00e9 m\u00fazy \/ My Object Muses) and a year later he also introduced the first complete range of glass lighting for the traditional Czech glass works R\u00fcckl Crystal. He designed a unique upholstered armchair and a sofa, which he named Structure, for K\u0159ehk\u00fd in 2013. They are both links to fractal constructions and the physical world, but also to drawings and comics. In the gallery you can find other important objects from his work.<\/p>\n
