Michal Bačák

Brilliant illustrator Michal Bačák is one of the main designers of the gallery and Křehký brand. He is the author of décors Poor Set No. 3 and of the prints on the New Biedermeier furniture, which he collaborated with Michaela Tomišková from DECHEM Studio. In 2015, he designed three hand-painted ceramic bowls inspired by exploring journeys from the past and Haban ceramics for Křehký. The three bowls display three portraits connecting Moravia with the great world of journeys of exploration. A single girl from “Moravian Samoa” (depicting Moravian and Samoa culture), an elder journeyman from the “Islands of Virgin Mary Křtinská” and a widow from “Papua New Milotice” during the Easter parade in Yucatan. A year later together with Klára Šumová, they came up with a very successful collection of vases Our Flora and the joint work continued with the design of the domestic Altar of St. Francis. Almost every year the successful cooperation of Křehký Bačák is extended with a new product. The latest one is the new edition of Poor Set Archeological which was inspired by archaeology.
