The cabinet of massive oak consists of loosely assembled, separate boxes framed by a classical ledge and a socle. The differing sizes of boxes allow for providing the groups of particular objects their own, relevant space. “To me, every cabinet is a kind of a home storage space where things come to appear for various reasons. This is why the basis of the cabinet is a grouping of boxes, thanks to which each group of objects can have its own private territory, its own private world,” Maxim Velčovský says. The cabinet was designed for the collection of the Krehky gallery and is custom-made.
